Portable Sanitation Solutions for Agriculture

For agricultural operations covered by OSHA’s Field Sanitation Standard, employers must provide at least one toilet and one handwashing facility for every 20 employees or fraction thereof. The standard applies when 11 or more employees perform hand-labor operations in the field, with an exception for field work lasting three hours or less, including transportation time. Facilities generally must be within a quarter-mile walk of the work area. State requirements may differ.
