Account Executive Spotlight: Northwest Territory John Sprenger and Samuel Henderson

February 27, 2026
Satellite Industries Account Executive Spotlight for the Northwest territory featuring two regional sales leaders supporting portable sanitation customers and territory growth.

The portable sanitation industry is built on relationships, reliability, and a deep understanding of the customers we serve. In the Northwest Territory, two Account Executives bring experience, energy, and authenticity to their roles every day: John Sprenger and Samuel Henderson.

While their journeys into the industry were different, their commitment to customers, and to strengthening portable sanitation, is the same.

John Sprenger: A Lifetime in the Industry

For John, portable sanitation isn’t just a career, it’s part of who he is.

“I grew up in the portable sanitation industry and chose to continue my career in it after college,” John shares. “I built on the experience I gained while working in one of Satellite’s service operations in Colorado. For more than 30 years, I’ve focused on supporting customers and strengthening our industry through consistent, service-driven work.”

A Day Built Around Solutions

When asked about a typical day, John smiles at the idea.

“A typical day involves communicating with customers by phone and email to understand their needs and provide clear, practical solutions,” he explains. “I focus on sharing insights, offering reliable information, and connecting ideas and people to help advance our industry.”

It’s not just about transactions, it’s about partnership.

Recognizing the Industry’s Power

John’s favorite part of his role is helping customers see the bigger picture.

“The most rewarding part of my role is helping customers truly recognize the power and value of our industry, and showing that value in action through forward-thinking products and services,” he says. “Portable sanitation is a critical partner to construction, special events, recreation, and countless other industries around the world.”

With decades of operational and sales experience, he adds, “I’m energized by every opportunity to share what I’ve learned and help customers thrive.”

Changing Perceptions

John believes the industry’s visibility is often underestimated.

“Very few people think about the portable sanitation industry until the topic comes up,” he notes. “Once we begin discussing its scope and importance, most people become genuinely interested. The uniqueness of the industry, and how closely it connects to everyday life without people realizing it, is often what surprises them most.”

And on a personal note?

“Customers might be surprised to learn that I was once a multi-sport athlete and performed well across several sports,” he says.

When he’s not working, John recharges outdoors. “I spend much of my free time outside, maintaining our yard for my family to enjoy, spending time with our dog, getting to the lake, or hiking in the mountains.”

Advice for the Next Generation

“Getting started in the portable sanitation industry often happens naturally,” John reflects. “But recognizing the meaningful impact you can have on people’s lives provides a clear sense of purpose. By taking the high road and upholding professional standards, you can be confident that your work is making a genuine difference.”

Leadership Style: “Collaborative, mentoring, and supportive.”

Samuel Henderson: Energy, Relationships, and Growth

For Samuel, the opportunity came at just the right time.

“I was in college when the job opportunity came up,” he explains. “I had heard great things about Satellite and the industry, and I have family and friends who work in it. I knew I couldn’t pass the opportunity up.”

No Two Days the Same

Samuel describes his days as fast-paced and collaborative.

“Each day is very different,” he says. “The majority of the time I’m busy with inbound work, helping customers, prospecting and building relationships with new customers, working with my consumables team to become better, or working with my regional teams to discover how we can expand support.”

His favorite part?

“Definitely making friendships. I truly enjoy all of my customers and how fun they are. They always know how to put a smile on my face.”

A Massive Industry

Like John, Samuel is passionate about educating others on the scale of portable sanitation.

“The industry is HUGE!” he says. “It touches every person’s life and you wouldn’t even think about it. Everyone has used a portable restroom, paper products, and even smelled the deodorizer in the air. It truly is everywhere you look.”

A Bit of Adventure

Samuel brings a bold story to the spotlight that customers may not know about him.

“I skydived out of a plane at 18,000 feet in Hawaii,” he shares.

Living in the Pacific Northwest, he spends much of his free time fishing. “I love bass fishing in the spring, sturgeon in the summer, and salmon and steelhead in the fall and winter,” he says. “And I really enjoy golfing when it’s not raining.”

Advice for Newcomers

“Have an open mindset and be ready to learn!” Samuel advises. “There is so much going on in portable sanitation. I learn something new every day.”

Leadership Style: “Approachable, organized, and collaborative.”

Serving the Northwest Territory with Experience and Energy

Together, John’s decades of mentorship and industry knowledge pair seamlessly with Samuel’s enthusiasm and relationship, first approach. Their shared commitment to customers reflects what strong Account Executive partnerships are all about: integrity, collaboration, and a genuine belief in the value of portable sanitation.

In the Northwest Territory, that combination is helping customers grow, one conversation, one solution, and one strong relationship at a time.
