Satellite Industries strengthens its European presence with the acquisition of Atlas Sanitation

Brussels, 3 October 2025 – Satellite Industries, the world’s leading manufacturer of portable sanitation products, proudly announces that it has acquired Atlas Sanitation Products B.V., a well-established supplier of urinals, handwash stations and consumables, among which the popular Pluto® freestanding urinals, based in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands.

Welcoming Johan van Zuijlen

We are excited to welcome, Atlas’ co-founder, Johan van Zuijlen, in our team in order to manage all sales of Satellite and Atlas products in the Netherlands and Flemish-speaking Belgium. With nearly three decades of experience, Johan is one of the portable sanitation industry’s most respected experts in Europe. Renowned for his customer-first mindset and vast network of long-standing relationships, he brings a unique mix of personal touch, contagious energy and sense of humor to the Satellite family.

Satellite Industries has long been rooted in the Dutch-speaking market. Following the integration of Atlas, Satellite will once again operate a local warehouse and sales office in Zoetermeer, supported by a core team of employees.

Driven by strong customer demand for fast delivery and fully assembled units, the Zoetermeer warehouse will be stocked and equipped to assemble the most popular portable toilets and related products. Atlas products will also be stocked everywhere else in Europe. This mirrors the successful approach at Satellite’s other European hubs, reinforcing the company’s commitment to proximity and reliability.
