Conferencia Satélite de Mujeres

Domingo 4 de octubre - Martes 6 de octubre de 2026
El Hotel Ballantyne, Charlotte, Carolina del Norte
Anne Schultz [email protected]

Many organizations invest heavily in safety programs, policies, and procedures, yet still struggle with turnover, accountability, communication breakdowns, and preventable incidents.
The difference is often not the safety program; it’s the leadership culture behind it.
In this session we will explore how leadership behaviors influence whether employees speak up, take ownership, report concerns, and support one another. Attendees will leave with practical strategies for creating a culture where trust, accountability, and safety become part of everyday operations.
Objectives:
Understand why compliance alone doesn’t create a strong safety culture
Identify the leadership behaviors that build trust and ownership
Recognize how psychological safety impacts communication, accountability, retention and performance.

Beyond the Prompt: Building Practical AI Tools for Portable Sanitation
| Kimi Harris
Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming part of everyday business, but its value goes far beyond writing emails or asking ChatGPT a question. In this session, Kimi Harris of PortaPros will share a practical look at how her team is using AI to solve real business challenges and build tools that support better decision-making, stronger customer relationships, and more efficient processes.
Using real-world examples from the portable sanitation industry, Kimi will walk through how simple conversations with AI have evolved into functional business tools — including strategic customer prioritization, job-costing and pricing models, standardized customer-facing resources, and a customized AI assistant designed around the company’s own processes and workflows.
Rather than focusing on the technical side of AI, this session will explore how to think about AI as a collaborative business tool: starting with a problem, providing the right context, testing ideas, refining the output, and ultimately turning those conversations into repeatable systems that a team can actually use.
Attendees will leave with practical ideas for identifying opportunities within their own organizations and a better understanding of how AI can move beyond the prompt and into the way we work.
Key takeaways
Practical examples of AI being used in a portable sanitation business
Learn how an AI conversation can evolve into a repeatable business tool, understand where human judgment remains essential
Leave with ideas they can begin applying to their own businesses

Erin King | Entrepreneur
They call her “The Energy Expert.”
After a serious health scare, three-time entrepreneur Erin King put her entire life on pause, and spent a full year conducting the world’s largest study on personal human energy management alongside a team of award-winning PhD researchers.
Fast forward to today, and King is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading energy management experts. SUCCESS Magazine named her one of their Top 10 Must-See Motivational Speakers alongside Mel Robbins and Jay Shetty.
As the creator of The Energy Exam®, the world’s first scientific assessment to discover your unique “energy instinct”, King has been hired by Google, Disney, The Academy Awards, VISA, Adobe, and even the United States Navy to unlock peak performance, transformative leadership, and more intentional living.
King has delivered standing ovation keynotes from Bali to Amsterdam and everywhere in between. Her peak performance insights have been featured in Forbes among other global publications and her podcast consistently ranks in the top 1% of all downloads on iTunes.
Off-duty you’ll find her playing all the outside sports with her husband Hartman, or hanging out with her huge, lively Irish family. And finally: if kissing your dog (Miss Betty White) directly on the mouth is wrong- Erin does not want to be right.

Julie Holmes | AI Keynote Speaker | AI Strategy & Advisory | Tech Entrepreneur & Founder | Inventor
Julie Holmes is a keynote speaker, inventor, tech founder, and AI strategist who has spent over 30 years helping leaders and organizations turn technology into competitive advantage. As a self-described Now-ist, Julie doesn't deal in distant predictions. She equips audiences with what works today.
Julie’s core message is simple and urgent: AI is raising the floor, making everyone faster and more alike. Some organizations will raise the ceiling. But the best will build a second story — using AI as the foundation to stand out and win. This is the heart of her Beyond Faster positioning and the Second Story Blueprint that runs through everything she does.
Julie has lived on both sides of the technology divide, with roles spanning implementation, consultancy, and product strategy at JDE, Oracle, and PeopleSoft. As an inventor, she built products used by tens of thousands of businesses in more than 50 countries. As a strategic advisor, she has worked with organizations including Keller Williams, Pernod Ricard, WebMD, American Express, and Expedia.
What sets Julie apart is the proprietary frameworks that come from her experience. The Second Story Blueprint gives leaders a practical architecture for building distinction on top of AI capability. The 20-60-20 Collaboration Equation reframes how humans and AI work together as partners, not replacements. The Delegation Dial helps leaders and teams know when to lean into AI and when to stay human.
She is the author of the best-selling 101+ AI Tips series.

Kendra Rainey | VP of Brand Strategy & Performance at Edgar Allan
Kendra Rainey is a brand strategist who helps companies in complex, technical, and regulated industries find the emotional truth underneath the functional one, and then make every execution that comes next answer to it.
As VP of Brand Strategy & Performance at Edgar Allan, she leads the team that carries a brand from positioning to measurement: strategy and messaging, content creation, how it’s discovered in search and AI answers, and whether it converts once someone arrives at its front door. Her focus is on what it takes to build the next generation of brands — the ones that will be found and chosen as buyers increasingly turn to AI to decide who's worth their click.
TL;DR: She thinks in stories and builds in systems.

Jen Ruggerio | Co-Founder, Rugged Traning Group

Jen has always been passionate about safety, but she found that teaching safety alone wasn't the fix. What was missing was leadership, the kind that builds a safety culture. Working with other educators and industry leaders, she and her team built a full leadership series specific to the trades: three levels of leadership across nine practical topics, each one designed to give participants concrete steps and clear takeaways they can put to use immediately.
In her book, Uncorporate Leadership, Jen makes the case for why leadership, not just policy, is what keeps people safe on the job.

Employee Retention
It’s estimated that employee replacement cost is 1 ½ to 2x their annual salary, which doesn’t account for ancillary costs that aren’t as measurable. Continued investment in current employees and a commitment to their professional development not only benefits your bottom line, but it also helps to boost morale and strengthen company culture. The Satellite Women’s Conference (SWC) takes a holistic approach to this. We believe that creating a space designed for women in this industry to come together to improve their business acumen, prioritize their personal health, and share their experiences will lead to a deeper network of resources and better industry overall.
Professional Development
Continuous training results in 50% higher net sales per employee. SWC is committed to providing the latest educational content in portable sanitation, business operations and personal growth & well-being. We invest in sought-after speakers, industry experts and innovators to connect with attendees in an approachable environment so the learning is current, hands-on, and truly impactful. We connect with industry professionals to learn challenges they are facing, new solutions they are adopting, tried and true methods that have brought success. We bring those conversations to our attendees so that everyone may benefit from shared collective knowledge. Whether new to the industry, a veteran or somewhere in between, women in all roles within their organization have expressed what a valuable experience this conference is for them each year. While some sessions are portable sanitation industry focused, we offer a wide range of topics that can benefit all women and provide them with substantial takeaways to immediately impact their business and their lives.
Community & Network
People are 90% more likely to trust and buy from a brand recommended by a friend. SWC is committed to maintaining an accessible community. We strive to find locations around the country to host the conference that creates an exceptional experience for a growing, dynamic, female-centered audience. This has forged a network of women across the country that otherwise would not have had the opportunity to connect on a genuine level. The immeasurable value is a trusted community of mentors and friends that can become professional resources, referrals, and personal connections.
FUN
“People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing” – Dale Carnegie. At the end of the day, we make sure there is plenty of time for laughter during the conference because those are the moments that sincerely reinforce our unique connections and prioritize the critical human component of work. Happy people are motivated, measure a higher rate of productivity, and have lower overall stress. That is always good for your bottom line.
