Gene Clay
Gene Clay joined the Satellite staff as South Central Area Manager in February of 2004.
Gene operated his own toilet company for five years prior to becoming the operations manager for a large private solid waste company. During his seventeen years with the company they increased the size of their rental fleet to over 5,000 units. It was during these years Gene became familiar with, and learned to appreciate, the quality of Satellite products and services. In all, Gene was a Satellite customer for twenty-two years prior to joining the company.
In addition to his extensive background in operations, Gene has a strong background in heavy truck equipment. Early in his career Gene had a position as a Sales Engineer with a large Kenworth and GMC dealer and eventually worked in heavy truck sales.
To customers, Gene is a wealth of valuable information. His experiences usually include a similar situation that can help operators through most problems regarding products and profitability.
